What is Central Melbourne Talent?
Central Melbourne Talent is a boutique agency representing actors, performers and presenters for stage, musical theatre and screen. What age group do you represent?
Whilst CMT primarily represents adult actors aged 15 and over, exceptions are made for exceptional teenagers with relevant skills and training.
Do I need experience?
CMT represents artists with proven professional training, industry experience and skill. Artists seeking representation will undergo an audition and in person interview where our team of agents can assess their skill level/suitability.
It is an expectation of Central Melbourne Talent that all clients maintain an up to date CV as well as professional headshot and showreel.

How much can I earn?
Generally the more featured the performer is, the higher the fee. There are minimum award wages for performers listed under the MEAA section at www.alliance.org.au
How much commission do CMT charge?
In keeping in line with MEAA National Standards, Central Melbourne Talent take 10% for all film, TV Programs,corporate videos and all extra’s work. 15% on all stills, commercials and voice-overs. Theatrical work is charged at 10% commission for the first 5 weeks of a set contract, then 5% thereafter. Royalties are also applied for repeated use of your image.

Do CMT charge Memberships or Agency Fees?
CMT does not charge any membership or agency fees. Any commission that CMT acquires is in line with national equity standards.
